Your first article, step by step

Start with one article, check the result, and send it as a draft before trying a batch. Follow the steps in order for your first run; you can return to any step later.

This is a guide, not an account progress tracker. Saving a draft is free; generating articles and some extras use credits. Check the quote before you generate.
BEGINNER WALKTHROUGH

Follow these six steps

Work at your own pace

Set up your brand Optional

Open brand form

Save the facts and writing instructions you want articles to follow. You can skip this while testing.

  1. Open Brands and enter a brand name and your real website URL.
  2. Add facts you have verified, such as your services. Add plain writing instructions if you have them.
  3. Select Save Brand. You will be able to select it when you write.
ExampleBrand facts: “We help first-time gardeners grow herbs in small spaces.” Writing instructions: “Use short paragraphs and explain unfamiliar terms.”

Check: Your saved brand appears in the brand list.

Write one article

Open article title field

Use a specific title for an article you would actually want to publish.

  1. Enter your Article Title. Choose the language, length, type, tone, and style.
  2. Choose your saved brand if you made one. Leave optional extras off for your first run.
  3. On the final step, review the settings and credit quote, then select Generate article.
ExampleArticle Title: “How to Grow Herbs on a Small Balcony” · English US · Medium · Informative.

Check: The job reaches Ready and you can open the finished article from Quick History.

Review the result

Open article jobs

Read the article before sending it anywhere. The article page lets you copy the text if it needs edits.

  1. In Quick History, select Open article for the job you just generated.
  2. Check the title, claims, headings, links, and any images or sources. Open source links when a claim matters.
  3. If the article needs changes, copy it and edit it before publishing.
ExampleIf the article says a growing method is “proven,” check its source before keeping that claim.

Check: You have read the full article and are comfortable sending it for review.

Connect a destination Optional

Choose a platform

Connect the site where you want to review drafts. You can leave the article in Wordflow if you are not ready.

  1. Open Integrations and select your publishing platform.
  2. Follow that platform's connection form and run its connection check if offered.
  3. Confirm that the destination is available before returning to your article.
ExampleFor a WordPress site, choose WordPress, enter that site's connection details, and check the connection result.

Check: Your connected destination appears in the article's sending controls.

Send the reviewed article as a draft Optional

Find your article

Send the same article you reviewed. A draft lets you inspect it on your site before it becomes public.

  1. Open your finished article from Quick History.
  2. In Send to WordPress or a platform that supports drafts, select the connected destination and choose Send as draft.
  3. Check the send status, then open the destination draft and review its formatting, category, links, and images.
Look forSend as draft, followed by a draft status or a link to open the draft at your destination.

Check: The article appears as a draft at your destination. You decide separately when to publish it.

Try a small batch

Open title list

Once the single article looks right, use the same approach for two or three related titles.

  1. Enter one title per line and give the project a name.
  2. Set the shared writing options. Leave automatic draft sending off for a first test.
  3. Review the per-article and total credit quote, generate the batch, then inspect each result in Live Jobs.
Example titlesHow to Grow Basil on a Balcony
How to Grow Mint in Containers
How to Keep Potted Herbs Healthy

Check: Each finished article is available to review; check all results before sending drafts.
